Job Title: Counter Sales and Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a customer-focused and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Counter Sales and Customer Service Representative. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional service to our customers, managing counter sales transactions, and handling inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer satisfaction, strong interpersonal skills, and the flexibility to take on any other duties required to support the overall success of the business.

 

Responsibilities:
 

Customer Assistance:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Provide product information, answer inquiries, and offer solutions to meet customer needs

Counter Sales:

  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the counter.

  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing counter area.

  • Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.

Ordering Products:

  • Assist customers with product selection and guide them through the ordering process.

  • Place orders for products, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.

  • Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to track and manage stock levels.

Customer Service:

  • Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy.

  • Work closely with other departments to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

Cash Handling:

  • Process cash and card transactions accurately.

  • Maintain proper cash-handling procedures and reconcile cash at the end of each shift.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about product features, specifications, and promotions.

  • Provide training to customers on product usage when necessary.

Any Other Duties as Required:

  • Be adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the overall efficiency of the sales and customer service functions.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Proven experience in a customer service or counter sales role.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Basic knowledge of products and their applications.

  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
