Backflow Recertification Facility
Beginning on October 1, 2020, Northwestern Supply will become the new testing facility for backflow tester’s to renew their license. We will also be a testing station to have your test gauges verified for accuracy. You will be able to bring your test kits by or send them in to be verified for accuracy. Robert Bird will be the testing proctor, and Northwestern Supply will be the testing site for the written exam and the wet lab testing.
Register for the next recertification class
There are two options for your recertification process.
– Refresher course followed by the written exam and wet lab performance test.
-review of material before the written exam is administered. Proctor will go over DCVA, RP, and PVB.
– Exam only and wet lab performance test.
-Proctor administers the exam and performance test with out a review.
Select which class to take when you register.
The testing fees are as follows:
-Refresher Course with Exam and Performance Test $125.00
-Exam Only with no refresher course and performance test. $75.00
Prices include the following listed above and testing you test kit for accuracy.
Annual testing kit for accuracy outside of the recertification process is $35 + Shipping (if necessary)

Upcoming Testing Dates
Recertification classes will be held the first Thursday of every month. Class size will not exceed 4-5 tester’s at one time. If there is more than 5 tester’s, the first five will be accepted, anybody after that will be rescheduled to another date to be approved by the proctor, and you will be notified of such changes.

Schedule your test kit annual test for accuracy
Click on the link below to schedule a date and time for your test kit to be verified for accuracy. You may drop your test kit off and pick up the following day, or send you test kit in. At this time, we will only test your kit on Friday’s from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm every Friday (exceptions of holidays). As the demand increases, testing dates and times will increases.
