Warehouse Personnel

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Personnel is responsible for efficiently managing the flow of products in and out of the warehouse. This role includes checking in products, verifying inventory, stocking items in their proper locations, and ensuring the warehouse operates smoothly and safely. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team and be willing to take on any other duties required to support the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Check-In:
    • Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
    • Verify product quantities against purchase orders or packing slips.
    • Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor or relevant departments.
  2. Inventory Management:
    • Accurately record inventory data into the warehouse management system.
    • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory audits.
    • Ensure proper labeling and documentation of all products.
  3. Stocking and Organization:
    • Efficiently stock and organize products on shelves, pallets, or bins according to company guidelines.
    • Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and arrange products.
    • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
  4. Order Fulfillment:
    • Pick and prepare products for outgoing shipments based on orders or delivery schedules.
    • Verify product accuracy before dispatching orders to customers.
  5. Safety and Compliance:
    • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Comply with company policies, including those related to health, safety, and the proper handling of hazardous materials.
  6. Customer Service:
    • Assist in resolving any issues or concerns related to inventory or product discrepancies.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to facilitate smooth warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional warehouse or logistics training is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
    • Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
    • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
    • Capability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

  • The role may involve working in varying temperatures and conditions depending on the warehouse environment.
  • Required to follow all safety guidelines and wear protective equipment as necessary.

Counter Sales Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and dependable Counter Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers at the sales counter, processing orders, answering product inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers promptly and professionally at the sales counter.

  • Process customer orders, quotes, and returns accurately.

  • Provide product information and recommendations to customers.

  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash, credit, or account transactions.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked counter area.

  • Assist in inventory control, including restocking shelves and checking product levels.

  • Build relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Handle customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner.

  • Support warehouse or delivery staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college or technical training preferred).

  • Prior experience in counter sales, retail, or customer service preferred.

  • Knowledge of irrigation, drainage, outdoor water, tools, etc. products is a plus.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Basic computer and POS system skills.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Dependable, punctual, and a team player.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

  • Lift and move up to 25- 75 lbs occasionally.

  • Frequent bending, reaching, and light manual handling of products.

Schedule:

  • Full-time / Part-time

  • Monday - Friday, Saturdays (March - August)
