Delivery Driver

Job Summary:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers while providing excellent customer service. This role ensures orders are accurate, deliveries are completed on schedule, and company vehicles and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport products to customer locations.
- Load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage during transport.
- Verify delivery orders for accuracy and ensure correct items and quantities are delivered.
- Obtain signatures and required documentation for delivered goods.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during all deliveries.
- Maintain delivery schedules and communicate delays or issues to supervisors.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Assist with warehouse duties such as picking, packing, stocking, and organizing inventory when not making deliveries.
- Follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and delivery procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles and follow navigation routes.
- Ability to lift and carry materials (typically up to 50 lbs or more as required).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent driving and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Regular lifting, bending, and moving materials.
- May require early morning, evening, or occasional weekend work depending on delivery schedules.
